They generally consist of only one cell (!)
Above that I cant give you a better answer as there is such variety in unicellular organisims. Bacteria (and all prokaryotic life), single celled eukaryotes such as amoebia, white blood cells and fungus to name the main offenders.
To keep it general all single celled organisms must be able to reproduce, sustain their life and consist of one cell. The reason viruses are not classed as living organisms is that they are unable to reproduce without invading it's host and hijacking their reproduction machinery.
Some general characteristics of unicellular organisms are small organismsand limited life span of its one cell.
they are obviously made of one cell and and the single cell performs all the necessities of life.
unicellular organism are single celled organism. they could not seen with naked eye. they should seen by placing them under microscope.
I don't know~ I'm asking the same question..
unicellular organisms are organisms with only one cell (uni=1) and multicellular organisms are organisms with more then one cell (multi=many).
Moving, Obtaining food, and carrying out all other functions
divide in two to reproduce and able to replicate themselves in a small time frame
Composed of one cell. EX: amoeba
Codium is a type of seaweed that is considered a unicellular organism. This is because even though they divide nuclei to grow larger, they do not separate into smaller cells by building cell walls.
A single celled organism is called unicellular.
Two characteristics of life in a unicellular organism would be movement and obtaining food.
An unicellular organism is single celled organism. For example- bacteria, archaea, amoeba
A Unicellular Organism or a Single-Celled Organism
composed of one cell
because it is either a unicellular or a multi-cell a paramecium is a unicellular organism a living organism and it has all the characteristics of life.
because it is either a unicellular or a multi-cell a paramecium is a unicellular organism a living organism and it has all the characteristics of life.
Unicellular is one cell while multicellular is many cells. An example of a unicellular organism is a elephant.

a paracemium can reprouce a blood cell can not
Yes,sponge is an unicellular organism.
a pond organism is a unicellular
We call these unicellular.
