Depending on the type of crab you're looking for. Most crabs like salty conditions with a sandy bottom and plenty of vegetation. According to the How-to-Crab site, "They prefer to live in eel grass but they have been known to make other seaweed forested sandy/muddy bottoms their habitats as well."
