The concept of Global Warming being real or not is hardly a party issue. The concept has moved away from the science and moved into a very political arena.
Both sides take a similar view on Global Warming. They ignore the science and claim that the debate is over.
It almost seems like the Democrat party's stand on global warming is that global warming is caused by Republicans.
If you want it colder vote for Democrats. If you want it warmer vote for Republicans. This, of course, is not their official position.

∙ 11y agoThere are still some people who argue that global warming is not happening, or that it is not important, or that we can't do anything about it anyway, but there isn't anyone who is actually for global warming. We all agree that global warming is a bad thing. No one actually wants the world to get warmer. It's warm enough.

∙ 12y agoDemocracies around the world overwhelmingly accept that global warming is real, that it is caused substantially by human activities, and that action is needed to solve the problem of global warming. That said, the democratic political process makes urgent action difficult unless opposition parties are willing to forego the short-term political advantage of opposing government action, and provide bipartisan support.

∙ 13y agoIt is near impossible to give an exact estimate, but the farther "left" you go, the stronger the belief is for "Global Warming". When looking at Liberal Democrats vs Moderate Democrats, Liberals have a very strong belief in Global Warming, while Moderates have a more relaxed belief on the subject.
