Nitro Specials were not graded as they were all "Field Grade" shotguns. Your serial number would be in the first year of production, 1921 according to one source but 1922 in another. (Pay me for the research time and I'll find out which one is correct.) I suspect that the 1o-o's indicate the choke, but don't know how Ithaca's code. For a 12 gauge, if a dime fits the muzzle loosly, it's open; snug, it's modified; won't go in, full.
