Firstly, it's not what Muslims can't do it's what they should do, because does god handcuff you to the wall and force you to do or not do things? no. He gives us a choice, he brings us into life gives us angels to watch out for us, god plans your life as much as you'd like to believe you're doing everything by yourself but then he gives you a choice on whether you want to be a good Muslim and by saying thank you to all that he has given you just follow what the Quran says, such as: don't lie, don't cheat others, don't behave badly with your family and especially not your mother, don't drink, don't have sex before marriage, don't become a lesbian, try to go to hajj once in a life time, try to pray, don't kill and take special care of children(they are fragile). These are, to me, the most important.

Muslims are not allowed to drink alcohol or beer, they are not allowed to have sex with a prostitute, they SHOULD respect all other religions.

Muslims also are not allowed to have boyfriends and cannot draw animate (objects with a soul). Also, they cannot have affairs with another man, woman if they are already married.

That would be a long answer; basically, there are five categories of activities under Islam: 1) things one is commanded to do; 2) things one is encouraged to do; 3) things one may do; 4) things one is discouraged from doing and 5) things which are forbidden.
