If memory serves me correctly (and it has been a while since I have taken music classes), it is the tempo (beat or cadance) that is applied that makes it different. All music can be played in all styles and with most instruments if physically possible including rock, pop, classical, jazz, etc. I say physically possible because I cannot imagine someone trying to play the Dualing Bangos on a Tuba, though if you slowed it down enough I suppose it is possible. However, it is the tempo that changes between the styles of music that makes the same music sound like rock or pop or classical music. Anyone else able to confirm this?
