If you want to travel, you can as pastry chefs and baker! You can work in some of the biggest hotels all over the world, I have. But, in the main the pay isn't good unless you are very experienced and good! I left the trade after getting really fed up with the dreadful hours, often starting at at 4 or 5am 6 days a week, long hours too! Think long and hard Its a hard job with lots of deadlines and stress! hope this helps.
