Some of the common drawing materials would be paper, (obviously), #2 pencils, kneaded erasers, acrylic paints, top quality colored pencils, (some kinds can be very crappy). Also, don't buy the erasing kind because they do erase completely, but you can't really see the actual color. Anyway, there are paintbrushes of all kinds, if you want, you can buy charcoal, which you don't want to if your not very careful because you can't erase it.
