The Elites are a race of aliens that joined the Covenant, the alliance of aliens that vows to destroy Humanity. They are Squad Leaders, usually 1 or 2 accompanied by 3 to 6 grunts, a lesser race of aliens. There are many ranks of these aliens, from the basic squad leaders to energy sword wielding generals. When in gameplay, take them out first, then the grunts will run aroud in fear and confusion, becoming easy kills.
