Is a partly enclosed coastal body of water with one or more rivers or streams flowing into it, and with a free connection to the open sea

Ponds, Rivers, Rockpools and Esturies and more places like that!
bodies of water and their surrounding coastal habitats typically found where rivers meet the sea
it is a good habitat cause it has all three resources that all living things need to living on the earth
Esturies form a common habitat for marine and riverine animals. They use these areas interchangably during various stages of their life. Many marine animals spans, lay eggs, hatch in esturies and then migrate to sea.Without esturies these animals become exstinct.
manatees are located in Florida right off the coast. Also in esturies, slow moving rivers, and warm coastal waters.
According to Whittaker (1975) of the three ecosystems, algal beds and reefs have the highest average primary productivity of 2500 g m-2y-1. Esturies are also fairly productive areas, averaging 1500 g m-2y-1. The open ocean on the other hand is a relatively unproductive system, averaging 125 g m-2y-1.However, if you look at the total productivity, and not the averages, the picture changes substantially. Now the open ocean contributes the most to the total global productivity due to vastly greater area than either esturies or algal beds and reefs. Indeed, with just 1.2 x 109t-1 algal beds and reefs contribute the least to the total global productivity. It is also worth noting that continental shelf areas have a higher productivity than open ocean, but contribute less to the global total, again because of reduced area. All figures taken fromWhittaker RH (1975) Communities and Ecosystems. The Manatees were found in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean.1. Antillean Manatee (Trichechus manatus manatus) found in the Atlantic Ocean in the Caribbean and coast of Central America (Atlantic Ocean).2. Amazonian Manatee (Trichechus inunguis) found in Atlantic Ocean is found in Brazil.3. Dugong (Dugong dugon) is found in Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean off the Coasts of Eastern Africa, India, Asia, and Northern Australia4. Florida Manatee (Trichechus manatus latirostris) found in the Atlantic Ocean in Southeast coast of United States (Florida,Texas, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mexico).5. Steller's sea cow now extinct was found in the Bering Sea.6. West African Manatee (Trichechus senegalensis)found in the Atlantic Ocean of the Coast of Western Africa.
the theory of Isostacy is the theory that is used in the movement of the earth, the word itself Isostacy comes from two Greek words:iso meaning equal and Stotikos meaning balance. Therefore Isostacy theory means equal balance or standing.Evidances on the theory of isostacy:presence of Rios and and Esturies in the coastland of Gambia and Sierra leone,Melting of ice sheet and Depression.Effects of the theory of Isostacy:May cause displacement of Lithosphere,Faulting leading to the formation of Block mountains and Rift valleys, foldings,Earth quakes and volcanic eruption.Importances of the theory of isostacy:Understanding the formation of different phenomena,Explain the concept that the crust floats on the mantle, predict future events eg floods, provide precautions to people on the effects of weather.
