To extract something is to remove, free or gain access to something.

Extracting information
Examples: distillation, ion-exchange, chromatography, decantation, extraction.
Examples are: evaporation, extraction electrophoresis, elutriation.
Water, acetone, ethanol, hexane, and toluene are all examples of solvents commonly used in various applications such as cleaning, extraction, and chemical reactions.
Examples of separation methods: filtration, distillation, sieving, ion exchange, solvent extraction, etc.
Are those which r concerned with extraction of wealth from air water n soil. ex:agriculture...
Examples of solid-liquid extraction include brewing coffee (using hot water to extract flavor compounds from coffee grounds), making tea (using hot water to extract compounds from tea leaves), and making herbal tinctures (using alcohol to extract medicinal compounds from herbs).
Examples: filtration, decantation, distillation, sieving, magnetic separation, solvent extraction, etc.
Examples: filtration, decantation, distillation, sieving, magnetic separation, solvent extraction, etc.
Multiple extraction.
The extraction of steam can either be controlled or uncontrolled. In an uncontrolled extraction the pressure of the extracted steam will decrease with an increase in extraction flow from the turbine. In a controlled extraction the extraction pressure is kept constant as extraction flow is increased or decreased.
It depends on what kind of extraction you are speaking of. Is it a tooth extraction? A menstrual or abortion extraction?
Examples are:- Adsorption- Chromatography- Decantation- Solvent extraction- Distillation- Crystallization- Electrophoresis- Filtration- Precipitation- Ion exchanging
