It takes 2,393 years to do one orbit. It is the longest visible comet when it does come it can be seen for over 19 months. It nucleus is believed to be between 25-50 miles across whereas a normal comet is typically 1-2 miles across. Its origins are in the Oort cloud which lies about 1 light year away and it is believed to be as old as the sun at 4.5 billion years old. Its next visit will be in 4388 AD.
