fairest is a book by Gail Carson Levine i read the book and it is great. it is full of excitement and surprise it really is my favorite book. it is about a girl named Aza who lives at her family's inn. like most of her books this is a fairy tale. you would know that because there are gnomes, magic mirrors , spells , and potion's Aza goes to the castle with one of the inn's frequent visitors a, duchess, to see the king get married to the new queen . Aza meets the prince and they fall in love, now there is a bad guy to every fairy tale and in this one the queen is it a jealous queen she is. before she became royalty she was a commoner just like Aza the queen is beautiful.
