The cheapest and most overlooked free activity is bush walking or taking some kind of trek. Head down to the national park or other nature type parks. It's free, relaxing, soothing and you can check out the wildlife. Some parks may have a parking fee but other than that it's free.
Or if you own a snorkel, head down to the closest reef to you and go for a swim and snorkel. Or if you have a fishing rod buy some bait which is only a few dollars and head down to the lake.
