Undergarments, or underwear
Apparel is clothing and garments, which are textile materials worn on the body.
Clothing (also known as clothes and attire) is a collective term for garments, items worn on the body.

Socks and/or stockings are undergarments. Undergarments are clothing that are worn under outer-garments to separate one's outer-garments and skin. Socks and/or stockings are worn under foot wear and clothing that covers the legs. Ergo they clearly satisfy the definition of undergarments.
Traditional Russian clothing includes garments such as the sarafan, kokoshnik, and ushanka. The sarafan is a long, sleeveless dress usually worn with a blouse underneath. The kokoshnik is a traditional headpiece typically worn by women, while the ushanka is a fur hat with ear flaps commonly worn during cold weather.
City people dress in garments similar to those worn by Australians. Rural workers wearthe traditional gaucho clothing: a wide brimmed hat,
it's a clothing factory: a place where they make clothing.
Garments
Neanderthals are believed to have worn clothing made from animal hides or fur to protect themselves from the elements. Their clothing would have included garments such as coats, skirts, and cloaks, which were likely stitched together using bone or sinew.
Any clothing that is modest and tasteful is okay. Loud colors or styles, or garments which are translucent, tight, non-conformist, or revealing, are generally not worn.
