Wherever you want to change how fast something turns and how strong something turns. Gears allow you to change a slow and strong movement into a faster but weaker movement, or the other way around. Gears can also be used to change the direction of rotation.
gears are used to transmit power and motion
Planetary gears can be spur or helical gears.
There are gears in my can opener, my mixer, and my food processor.
Wherever anyone wants a chance to trade speed for power, or the other way around.
mostly helical gears !1.
yes
There are three main types of gear combinations used in mechanical systems: spur gears, helical gears, and bevel gears. Spur gears have straight teeth and are used for simple applications. Helical gears have angled teeth for smoother operation and higher loads. Bevel gears have cone-shaped teeth and are used to change the direction of rotation.
Gears are used to make pieces of items or objects rotate. They are used in a majority of machines available.
Bevel gears can be used to change the direction of drive in a gear system by 90 degrees
Depends on its condition. I think it'd be around $30-$35 for a used one.
Sorry Spin plays very much like original Sorry. The goal is to get all four of your pawns around the board and into your home space. You move around the board by drawing cards and following the instructions on the card. If you land on the same space as another player's pawn, you send it back to start. The main difference in Sorry Spin is that the board is made up of 5 gears (a large center gear and 4 smaller home gears) and sometimes you draw a card or land on a space with allows you to "spin" the gears 1/4 of the way around. Doing this may move you closer to your home gear or send another player right past their home, making them go all the way around again.
