What Pokemon should you have in Pokemon Pearl?

It depends on which ones you like and train my personal favorites are pidgeot,palkia,dugtrio,snorlax,charizard,(carried over from leaf green or fire red)and mew2(GTS)

The cool thing is I didn't cheat for all of those level 100's it was just hard work and time

i think its a legendary called arceus. it can learn all sorts of moves from tms from flamethrower to horn attack. also, if you find type plates of any kind, make it hold one. itll become that plate type and change color too. say you make it hold an ice plate, itll change to an ice Pokemon and its color will change too. cool huh? if you ever get an azure Flute, go to mt coronet with a masterball. he'll be in a really cool spot and itll ask you if you wanna play the flute.

By it's name you should obviously have Palkia and you should also have some of these:

Well, starter Pokemon wise, you should chose piplup or chimchar. They evolve into great Pokemon. The turtwig has not been as great. A good team would consist of your starter, another starter type, and some good evolved Pokemon that differ like starly which eventually becomes staraptor and shinx which eventually evolves into luxray. Steelixes are great....ponyta can become rapidash, which is pretty powerful, and the riolu egg you get from riley should evolve into lucario.

A fully evolved starter Pokemon(unless you choose not to evolve but they're tougher that way),I suggest a Luxray they're awesome,A Machoke at least they have great fighting skills,and a Clampearl if you ever trade it could evolve into Gorebyss or Huntail depending on if it's holding a Deepseatooth or Deepseascale.
