Try a few layers around your chin. Don't go for bangs. If you want to go REALLY drastic then just go to the hair dresser and say "do what you think will look best".

A fiber animal that is raised for sweater bloodlines should have a long staple length. They should also have a medium to high crimp. They could be a fine to medium micron count.

Ponytail. It depends on your hair, but there is a lot you can do with medium length hair. One of my favourite is a french roll. It keeps it back out of my face, I can do it in seconds with the help of one single hair stick. If you have long curly hair then yes but I don't think it would suit as much if you have short hair. I have medium length curly hair and a sort of side fringe so a side fringe is fine on any length I'm just not sure about a full fringe :)
Manx cats have a double coat. The shorter inner coat is extremely fine, and the outer coat is usually medium in length, although I have seen the occasional long haired manx. They too, have the undercoat.
