To elaborate on this answer, you are asking a pretty broad question and if you want good mystery books, The Diary of Anne Frank is a pretty good one. Nobody knows where she is hiding..thus leading me to believe this is a mystery. Perhaps any Sherlock Holmes novels? Although we know he solves his mysteries so they aren't too mysterious towards the end, hes just a good detective though, what are you gunna do right?
