Unless you have your diet under control it's really hard to lose weight by exercising. With the high-calorie foodstuffs we have available today it's so easy to overeat, so any weight loss really starts at the plate.

When it comes to weight loss exercises it's all about getting the heart rate up and keeping it up for some time. 5-10 minuts just won't cut it.

So basically any exercise that gets the heart rate up and is fun enough to keep doing for 30-60 minutes each time is a good exercise. Skating, dancing, aerobics, cycling, trampoline, swimming etc etc.
