any kind of drug that would make you hallucinate or make you see anything that wasn't there would be considered a hallucinogen. hallucinogens can be very dangerous because you might think something absolutely crazy like an elephant is chasing you or your pet is saying he/she will eat you alive. these kinds of hallucinogens can lead to serious injury or even death for fear and trying to get away from these hallucinations.
