the difference is that the sun is a star and the moon is a satellite, the moon is made of rocks and dust.
lol
the sun is a massive ball of incendiary gas a few hundred times the size of the Earth that is fueled by hydrogen that fuses and creates heavier and heavier elements, making the core full of heavy elements like iron and lead. since the there is the constant fusion of atoms it gives off absolutely massive amounts of heat and light and the moon is just a giant collection of rocks compacted because of their gravitational pull and its only a 1 or 2 hundred miles in diameter, it only shines because light from the sun reflects off of the sand on the moon because of its luster.
ur probably just some kid in like second grade and cant understand a single thing i said but i dont really care
haha
Fool
The moon revolves around the earth and the earth revolves around the sun.
Why do we see differences in the appearance and movements of the Sun and Moon from Earth
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, blocking the sunlight. A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon, causing Earth's shadow to cover the moon.
An eclipse occurs when the Earth, Moon, and Sun align in a way that the Moon blocks the Sun's light from reaching Earth, causing a temporary darkening of the sky. A new moon, on the other hand, is when the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, but not in alignment for an eclipse, resulting in the Moon being mostly invisible from Earth.
Night is the absence of light.
When the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun you get a full moon, not a new Moon which occurs when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun. You could also get a Lunar eclipse.
When the moon passes between the Sun and Earth there is a new moon. In a special case where the Sun and Moon are aligned there is an eclipse of the Sun (the moon blocking view of the Sun).
The Sun is NEVER between the Earth and the Moon. When the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun, this is called a Solar Eclipse. When the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun, this is called a Lunar Eclipse.
Earth has a atmosphere and the moon does not
When the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, it is a Full Moon but when the Sun, Moon and Earth are directly in line - we will get a lunar eclipse.
Why do we see differences in the appearance and movements of the Sun and Moon from Earth
