Notre Dame, by comparison, has about 11,500 total students, 85% of which are Catholic (about 9800).
The state-run University of Illinois, Chicago boasts 15,000 Catholic students out of its total 25,000.
Unfortunately, i could not find a clear study indicating catholic enrollment statistics across the board; maybe someone will provide more information.
