Is lysosme found in plant cells?

Yes, they are present in plant cells. There are less in plant cells than in animal cells.

Is lysosme found in animal or plants cells?

Only in animal cells. Plant's central vacuoles can do the lysosome job there to a great extent.

What pumps out water from cell?

Some protazoans have a contractile vacuole which is an organ that pumps water out of cells. Other cells don't have these and instead water moves out by osmosis.

What are the main differances between a plant cell and a animal cell?

A plant cell has a cell wall, chloroplast, and amyloplasts. It also has a bigger vacuole. An animal cell has lysosme and smaller vacuoles.

What do lysosme do in a animal cell?

Lysosome are cellular organelles found in animal cells. Lysosomes hold specialized enzymes that help body digest food, fight bacteria, remove waste and unwanted cells.

What does a lysosme do in a cell?

Lysosomes is a cell organelle which contains enzymes that digest the injured or worn out part of cell. If a cell ruptures or dies the lysosome present in the cell burst to release enzymes. These organelles are also called 'digestive bag' and 'suicide bag'. During metamorphosis in tadpole the tail is digested by lysosomes.

What is the function of a lysosme?

A lysosome is an organelle responsible for breaking down unwanted materials, such as waste molecules or old organelles, within the cell. It contains enzymes that aid in the digestion and recycling of these materials to maintain cellular health and function.

Non living thing similar to lysosome?

Vacuole is a non-living organelle in plant and fungal cells that shares similarities with lysosomes. Both organelles are involved in the breakdown and recycling of cellular waste and materials. They also help maintain cell structure and balance within the cell.

Which type of organelle forms a membranous system of tubular canals which is continuous with the nuclear envelope and branches through the cytoplasm?

The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is the organelle that forms a membranous system of tubular canals which is continuous with the nuclear envelope and branches through the cytoplasm. There are two types of ER: rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER), which has ribosomes attached to its surface, and smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER), which lacks ribosomes.
