they represent a minority opinion
Even though it may seem like minor parties don't have much of an effect on politics and elections, minor parties can actually make enough difference to change an election. Minor parties rarely win elections but are actually necessary to politics. The small amount of people that vote for minor parties could potentially cost enough for a major party to lose an election to the other major party. For example: If an election is 50/50 between Democratic and the Republican parties and 10 percent of the Democrats decide to vote for a minor party it would cost the Democrats the election. Hope this makes sense! Good luck!
Usually because they either do not have enough of a voter base that belongs to their party to win an election, or their political ideas are unpopular with the public-at-large. they cant raise enough money
Third parties lose most elections because the majority votes with one political party or another without weighing all of the options. Greater voter support also results in stronger campaigns to win fence-riders.
there are more independent voters and people are now more educated to the corrupt nature of parties
The Democrats lost seven seats in the 2014 mid-term elections to lose control of the US senate
YASS!!!
he did not lose he won the election because he made his own party called the bull moose party.
Both parties will lose their license if a police report is taken. Both parties are still responsible for all damage incurred or injuries.
Causing major parties to consider, and sometimes adopt, their ideas. Often, it takes a smaller party to put forward a new or potentially controversial idea-- it may not be a bad idea, but it may be perceived as controversial because it goes against what the majority party has espoused up to that point. The two major parties (Republicans and Democrats) often tend to be very cautious when proposing new policies, for fear of alienating voters. They stick to their established talking points, and hesitate to violate the expectations of those who have supported them. But the minor or smaller parties feel they have less to lose, since the people who voted for their party did so with an expectation that they would be different and make bolder proposals. When a minor party introduces a new policy idea and gets it into the political discussion, there is the chance that, gradually, the proposal might gain some traction, to the point where it is ultimately adopted and implemented by a major party.
No. The minor has the same needs as before which the parents have to pay for. The minor and the father of her child will have to pay for their own child.
