snakes
Snakes do not have vaginas. Females have cloacae and males have hemipenes.
yes. uncommon, but it has happened. especially if they are kept with smaller snakes, or 2 males are together.
I'm not sure, but normally female snakes are bigger than the males; I don't know of any that aren't that way. I'm sure it's a safe bet to say that the females are bigger than the males.
"snakes" are called "Schlangen" in German.
males
Females are usually larger than males.
I have both males and females in my vast reptiles collection.
Males usually reach lengths of 3-4 feet. Females are larger than the males, and are usually 4-4.5 feet long. In captivity these snakes live longer, and therefore grow to greater lengths.
Newly hatched snakes are called hatchlings. Newly born snakes are called neonates or snakelets.
One easy way to tell visualy is that that males have longer, thicker tails. Males also have a pair of sex organs called hemipenes inside them which females don't have. Also, when snakes are young the hemipenes are more visual externally.
