There are 5 main ways to lose weight.

*exercise 40-45 minutes a day.[do sit ups,press ups and do weights including lifting.] *eat up to your level[don't eat extra.] *eat 5 fruits and veggies everyday. *jog or walk for 1 mile twice everyday.[or you can walk or jog just 2 miles once a day but 1 mile twice a day would be better.] *do not drink fizzy drinks or eat unhealthy foods.drink 1.5 liters of water everyday and eat very less fat + don't have that many calories. i have been trying this for 2-3 weeks and it has worked.I weighed 86kg and now i weigh 77kg so i have lost around about 10kg in 2-3 weeks time. You could also burn more calories than you take in.

The only way to lose weight without exersise is to have a perfect diet. Eliminate all sugar, trans fats and processed carbs. You sprained your ankle but you should still do some upper body exercises as well.
