Hi, Venetian masks where traditionally made from paper mache but many modern ones are now made from lightweight resin. You could create a mask using paper mache but my suggestion would be to buy a blank mask (an undecorated one) and then let your imagination run riot. You would start by painting it and then you can decorate it using gems, braids, silk flowers, fascinators, rope, you name it you can use it. Be creative and you will have the satisfaction of knowing yours is a one off
