YES. I have had four back/neck surgeries in the last two years, and as a result, I developed Fibromyalgia. Now, I have back and neck scars, plus a body that is always in pain due to the fibromyalgia. I think every body needs adequate time to heal before another surgery is performed. Plus, I think that orthopedic and nuerosurgeons are too apt to cut instead of try other options. If they did other forms of therapy first, they would probably be out of business. (or at least hurting for more business) All of my surgeons where too knife happy. In my humble opionion, of course. :)
