You may also purchase in-world items with Second Life currency, called the Linden. If you download the client from www.secondlife.com and not from other player-run web sites, then Second Life is completely safe to use.
However, players in world are only loosely monitored, so you can be scammed or defrauded by other players. Linden Lab does not tolerate this type of activity though, and if you are taken advantage of or harassed then you should report that to Linden Lab.
well I think imvu is better plus ive had imvu 2 years and imvu lets u do that deal of the day which gives u free creds second life doesn't do that also I tried to download second life but wouldn't work so im going with imvu
