Sure, why not! Pedal pushers are pants that come down to calf-length. They are very flattering although they don't help the vertically-challenged seem taller.
By forming sixteen ranks into a shield wall, with pikes of the front few ranks pointing through the shields. The following ranks rested their pikes on the shoulders of the front ranks, where they deflected incoming arrows along with their shields held above their heads. These rear ranks were pushers, so that wen contact was made it became a shoving match to push the front pike into the enemy formation.
fissile fuels used: Pu239, U235, U233fusible fuels used: hydrogen isotopes D & T, compound LiDmany other elements are used in chemical explosives, initiators, tampers, pushers, electronics, casings, parachutes, etc. needed to make a working deliverable bomb. I could not list them all here and they often vary widely from bomb to bomb, but the 6 fuels I listed are the only ones usable though different bombs use different ones or combinations of them.
Mahan didn't attend the US Naval War College as a student, he was one of the original cadre there. Mahan was president of the Naval War college twice, 1886-89, then later 1892-93. Like most military theorists he was a better staff officer than he was a commander (field officer). Like Clausewitz before him, they both were clumsy in the field or at sea. Clausewitz had no knack to control men (called leadership in the army) and Mahan grounded his warship (a court-martial offense in the navy) and had a few collisions at sea (also court-martial offenses). The military (no matter what the nationality) is made up of TWO different classes of officers; Command and Staff. Prior to the 21st century, Commanders commanded men in the field, or at sea on warships; and staff officers did everything else (also known as paper pushers, pencil pushers, pencil jockeys, paper punchers, desk jockeys, flying a desk, REMF officers, Base Camp Commando Officers, etc. etc. etc.). But armies and navies cannot function without both types of officers...they are both mandatory (needed). The trick was, no man (officer) could be a genius at both! Men such as Clausewitz and Mahan were considered genius's of military theory...they were great staff officers. But horrible field officers (commanders). General George S. Patton Jr. who commanded the 3rd Army in WWII, was a great field commander and leader of men...but he was a terrible staff officer (being diplomatic is an integral part of being a staff officer). Ya can't have both.
