When you go to the Vatican you visit St. Peter's basilica, the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel. This is a working capital of the Roman Catholic church and not an amusement park. There are rules to enter into the basilica and for behavior. Women are not to wear shorts and are to have their shoulders covered ( a scarf will do the trick). The guards do not allow visitors to stand and take pictures within the basilica. Bags are to be checked when entering the museums. In the summer the lines are long so it takes time to visit these things.
St Peter's Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. I'd recommend the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms above all else. The Vatican Post Office is also surprisingly tranquil.
Although just outside the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo is also definitely worth a visit.
The two most visited places in the Vatican are Saint Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel.
They walk a few blocks to Rome which has almost unlimited entertainment possibilities.
There are no prescribed hobbies in the Vatican. Each resident may choose any hobby they wish as long as it is not prohibited by the Vatican. For example, pets are not allowed in the Vatican so residents could not keep a dog or a cat.
