Some possible risks of showing animals in 4-H is that you over feed it, dehydrate the animal, or don't take care of it properly. Other wise you there is not very many risks to showing animals in 4-H. Oh and make sure if your animal for instance is a goat or lamb is coughing and won't stop then rub your hand in a cup form up and down the throat area.
Rabbits are animals that can and do need to be registered for 4H. (A pedigree may also work depending on the location of the club). However, if you are looking to display rabbits in shows, then most do not require you to be a member of 4H, therefore the rabbit will not need to be registered with the club.
They make them have fun when you where a kid you might have bene in a 4H camp its fun but i went in a 4H camp in the forest called rock eagle its the biggest 4H camp and the kids counue, do artchery, learn helth, and of course learn about nature, growth, and animals. Its fun!
