Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic are two different classifications of organisms.

Prokaryotes are very small and do not have membrane-bound organelles. They have one circular ring of DNA. They are always single-celled. Prokaryotes common name is bacteria.

Eukaryotes, on the other hand, are different. They have membrane-bound organelles and have linear DNA. They can be single-celled, but are often multicellular organisms.
