What are the good qualities of a good husbandman?

• Gentle with the animals
• Able to spot disease and genetic defects
• Identify the best breeding animals from stock
• Able to safely move animals
• Keep detailed records of breeding results, such as offspring number, dressout weight, etc.
• Knowledgeable of different breeds and their qualities.

A good communicator is key, someone that has a good sense of humor, someone who shares your interests and faith, someone who will put your needs ahead of their own, someone who shares your philosopy on how to spend money, someone without vices (drugs, gambling, drinking, chasing women), someone who is a good listener, someone who is debt free, works hard and has a good job, someone who can fix things, knows how to balance their checkbook, makes good decisions, is attractive and takes good care of themselves, someone who shares your desire to have or not have children, someone that is competent, doesn't BS others, someone that has integrity.

This is my list. Come up with your own list. It should be a long list. Put it all down on paper and don't settle. Your future happiness or misery depends on who you select to spend the rest of your life with. Make a good one!
