Corian is the registered trademark of the DuPont company. It is a countertop made of acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate. ∙ 16y agoAs opposed to granite countertops, any scratches or burn marks can easily be sanded out. Countertops made of Corian can be made to look completely seemless with out cracks that would normally collect water and dirt. See the Related Links for "Dupont: Corian"
