Pellets - as in owl pellets
Yes. A radioactive atom is a radioactive atom. If that atom exists as a single atom and is uncombined and it is radioactive, it's radioactive. If that same atom is chemically combined with another or other atoms, it's still radioactive. It's just that simple.
All uranium compounds are radioactive to some degree.
Zirconium does have radioactive isotopes, but the main ones used in industry are not radioactive.
As radium is radioactive, radium chloride would also be radioactive. Any compounds make with any radioactive material are radioactive, and they cannot be "not" radioactive. Radioactive material doesn't really care if it is "alone" or in compound; it will be radioactive in any case.
Radioactive or not, pure cobalt is a gray metal.
When radioactive pellets are implanted directly into the tumor
Radioactive pellets will require different personal protective equipment depending on the isotope present and the physical form of the pellets. If the pellets are easily crumbled to dust, then respiratory protection will be needed if engineering controls such as enclosure and negative pressure ventilation cannot be provided. If the pellets are unlikely to be crumbled into dust, respirator protection may not be needed. In either case, to prevent excessive radiation exposure, minimize time of contact, maximize distance from the material, and provide an appropriate thickness of radiation shielding.
In fact, many products appear in forms of pellets. They can be used in many fields like animal feed pellets, bedding pellets and home heating pellets, etc.
There are a few things one can refer to when speaking of pellets. There are wood pellets which one can burn in a wood stove. There are pellets for guns such as BB gun pellets as well regular bullets are called pellets too.
Crosman pellets are fine. however if you really want quality pellets I suggest H&N pellets
ratite pellets, or ostrich pellets
Dung pellets are poo toilets
One Place wood pellets are made is Pa Pellets in Ulysses,Pa
Early pellets were called grapeshot
Potassium (K) Hydroxide (OH) pellets.
There are no such things as exploderz pellets.
