Seahorses are mostly afraid of being eaten.
I believe they can but, if it's against the law they shouldn't be eaten only if the people in the country enjoy eating seahorses.
To hide from predators and to stop themselves from getting eaten.
Animals that prey on seahorses include crabs, tuna, and penguins.
They could get tangled or eaten.
Yes. Animals such as whales and sharks can not help but swallow these tiny creatures.
I would have to say yes. Sea horses camouflage in to coral reafs mostely. :-)
There are male seahorses and female seahorses.
Female seahorses don't have a pouch; they just have eggs. The males have a pouch where the female deposits up to 2,000 eggs. Biologists think seahorses developed the pouch as a way to ensure the species survives. For example, if a female had all the eggs and had to bear offspring, all the babies could die if she got eaten. If a male gets eaten, the most offspring lost is up to 2,000 eggs. But there are always other males that can mate with the female who has the eggs to deposit.
THEY DON'T!! THEY CAMOUFLAGE AND AVOID PREDATORS THAT WAY!! Some have poison and if eaten the predator will spit it out or the predator will die, and most likely its a stupid human.
