THE SEVEN COMMANDMENTS

7. All animals are equal. (Later the pigs decide that that isn't the case)

The ladybug is a seven letter animal. Additional seven letter animals include the lobster and leopard.
There are seven commandments in the beginning of Animal Farm. At the end there is only one commandment and that is, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
There can be no less then 4 animals and no more then 8. Eventually another animal will move in or one might move out.
The animals felt they needed the seven commandments so order would be brought to the farm. The commandments would tell them what was and wasn't allowed.
The other animals in the farm started to get a little suspicious every time it seemed like the pigs broke the Seven Commandments (i.e When Clover thinks that it was one of the Seven Commandments that no animal shall kill another animal.) So then the pigs had to make up some story that would sound persuasive and make the other animals believe that the rules had not been changed, it was just that the animals weren't smart enough to remember.

Some are. Some aren't. Humans, for example, are an animal, and our population just hit seven billion.
That's what The Book said. noah only took two of each animal, unless it was a clean animal. clean animals were used for sacrifices and in worship so noah took more of those animals. I'm not positive but i think he took seven of each clean animal.
Many animals on the farm could not remember all seven commandments so they shortened them to "Four legs good, two legs bad"
