∙ 11y agoShort term is something that can be completed in a short amount of time. Perhaps a few days, weeks, or even a few months.
My ideas of short term goals might be planting a garden, painting a room or your house, taking a college class (not going for a full degree), write a term paper, lose weight over the period of a few months, take a vacation in the near future, finish some small projects around the house or on your car.
Long term goals might include paying off a car, buying a house, getting a college degree, getting married, working on your house (building a garage or remodeling, which could take many months or even a few years), paying off credit cards or large bills.
