they re Apple signatures from current or previous firmwares that you save with cydia
Currently, no, but you can use redsn0w to jailbreak 4.3.5 (tethered). Keep a lookout for ifaith though, the program may be taking a turn towards creating shsh blobs for earlier ios versions, lets hope so.
uhh, you dont!
You cannot downgrade an iPod touch with with another iPod touch's shsh blobs because the shsh blob is unique to that device. Think of it as your DNA is unique nobody can be exactly like you.
Through apple, no. Depending on your device, there is an unofficial way. If you have saved .shsh blobs of iOS 6 for your device and they were saved after the time the APTickets were not stored properly, or properly through iFaith or other shsh software, you may be able to downgrade. That being said, there is no other way to do this.
First you have to "jailbreak" your iPhone and install Cydia. Then you must install a program called "iFaith" to save your "SHSH Blobs".Then open "iFaith" and press "Save your SHSH Blobs".Then you have to download the "iOS" that you want do install. Then you have to download and install an older version of "iTunes" you have to download this version "11.0.5".Then when your download and isntall are finished open "iTunes".Then you must turn your iPhone in "Recovery Mode" by holding pressed "Power and Home-Button" for 10 seconds, after 10 seconds you have to release the "Power-Button" and hold pressed "Home-Button" till a text appears on "iTunes" saying "There is an iPhone in Recovery Mode" the press "OK".Then go to "Restore" by holding pressed "SHift" and find the saved "SHSH Blobs" and press it.Now your iPhone begins restoring to the iOS you want.
Depends on model. if 2g mb model or older just hole shift and click restore it will ask for you to browse for firmware if mc model or 3rd gen then you must have shsh blobs saved
Sadly, you cannot downgrade to an older iOS version after updating unless you disobey Apple's terms and use illegal hacks.
Most people will tell you it is not possible if you do not have your SHSH blobs saved. The link I have included shows how to perform this without that being the case. There is another jailbreak that has not been released yet to the public that is called SHAtter and it is supposed to jailbreak all previous iOS firmware.
If you haven't saved your SHSH before updating then there is no way to downgrade. Saving SHSH isn't commonly done with iPhone users that aren't jailbroken/unlocked.
Bird Blobs ended in 2006.
