Personally I have chronic problems with constipation and IBS, my stomach does not digest food as well as it should anymore, and I have stomach pain when I eat, and acid reflux, due to formerly being bulimic. There are other side effects you can have, such as throat damage from the vomiting, heart problems, teeth decaying and falling out because of the acid from vomiting, ulcers, also you can have damage to other organs, such as your liver, kidneys, spleen, etc. that you may have to live with for the rest of your life. If you are bulimic, please get help before you have to go through any of this.
bulemia: you feel the need to purge.
it can cause dehydration, anorexia, dizzyness
anprexia:
Probably one of the most common side effects of anorexia is depression.
Sometimes it's difficult for clinicians to tell if the depression is brought on by anorexia (as a starvation symptom), or is it depression that drove the sufferer to the eating disorder?
For me it was the latter, but that was an important distinction as to whether or not I should be put on anti-depressants.
In other words, my physicians were saying that if anorexia caused my depression, then food is my medication, not anti-depressants.
It is just a shorter version of the full name. Anorexia is short for Anorexia Nervosa. Therefore, Anorexia Nervosa is commonly referred to as Anorexia. (As is Bulimia. Bulimia is short for Bulimia Nervosa.)
Bulimia
Anorexia and bulimia are mental illnesses which result from an excessive fear of getting fat.
Anorexia is different from bulimia because anorexia is were you eat no food and you get really skiny were you see your bones and bulimia is were if you eat food you puke it back up and you see your bones as well and there is no cure to anorexia and bulimia.
it is binge and pinge side effects are hair falling out,no menstrual cycle, ruins teeth
anorexia
Not really. Anorexia and bulimia are very different eating disorders.
there are 2 types of bulimia, they are Anorexia Nervosa & Bulimia Eating Disorder.
Yes, there are unfortunately very many celebrities with anorexia and bulimia.
Both anorexia and bulimia are dangerous eating disorders that can be potentially fatal. Each had many risks, side effects, and consequences. Both EDs are found primarily in girls between the ages of 12 and 28 in middle- to upper-class families. Both are eating disorders related to the desparate desire to lose weight. Bulimia is far more common than anorexia is. Bulimics will binge and the purge to lose weight, while anorexics will mainly tightly restrict their calorie intake and then exercsie excessively to burn off even more calories. Anorexia has a higher fatality rate from the actual disorder, while bulimia has a higher suicide rate (as it is far less effective) and a higher fatality due to complications and medical side effects.

Both are deadly, it depends on how long a person suffers. A person with anorexia is in a state of self-starvation and will die due to the effects of starvation. A person with bulimia binges and purges, purging is deadly, people sometimes die on their first purge, others do it for years without dying. It's a gamble. Personally I would say bulimia, though I am NOT dismissing the dangers of anorexia, they both lead to death, but from my experience, bulimia is more dangerous.
