No i cant answer this question!
the answer is pigment

Many objects do appear black or white when light falls on them. If they are black, it means that the object is absorbing all wavelengths of visible light and not reflecting any. If they are white, it means that they are reflecting all wavelengths of visible light and not absorbing any. The color of an object is due to the wavelengths of light that it reflects.
yes, it is the best color for reflecting light
The blue pants appear black because they are absorbing the red wavelengths. The shirt must not be the same color as the light, because using basic knowledge of how light works, if it really was red along with the stage light, it would appear red as well. Therefore, all of these clothing items are absorbing the light and not reflecting it back as the colors they should be under white light.
A chromophore is part of a molecule. This part is what gives the molecule its color by absorbing and reflecting light.

Whatever color a human sees, that item or thing is reflecting it. so if you are looking at a green apple, that apple is absorbing all of the colors BUT green. We see the green because that is the color being refelcted. our eyes pick up on the reflection, and we see the color. But if you see black the item or object is absorbing all the color and white is reflecting all the colors
Neptune appears blue due to the methane gasses in the atmosphere absorbing the red light spectrum and reflecting the blue light spectrum back into space.
Color is produced by the reflection of lights. If you have a blue object, it is reflecting blue light and is absorbing all other colors. A white object absorbs all colors and a black object reflects all.
Green surfaces are absorbing all other color photons, and reflect only green photons, making the surface appear as green.
Yes. The color white in light represents all visible frequencies. The reason that a "white" object appears "colorless" is that it is reflecting the entire range of colors. A "black" object is reflecting much less light, absorbing light energy across the entire range of colors.
Chromophores are responsible for giving dyes their color by absorbing certain wavelengths of visible light and transmitting or reflecting others.Auxochromes modify the ability of a chromophore to absorb light. They often result in the deepening and intensifying of the color of compounds

More or less yes, basically the red paint absorbs all of the colours of light except for the red light which is reflected. It is this reflected red light which we see.
