A Night Prayer
Eternal Father,
I desire to rest in Thy Heart this night.
I make the intention of offering to Thee
every beat of my heart,
joining to them as many acts of love and desire.
I pray that even while I am asleep,
I will bring back to Thee souls that offend Thee.
I ask forgiveness for the whole world,
especially for those who know Thee and yet sin.
I offer to Thee my every breath and heartbeat
as a prayer of reparation.
Amen.
On 2021 Good Friday, significant events include religious services and observances commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, as well as various cultural traditions and customs practiced by Christians around the world. Additionally, some countries may have public holidays or special events to mark the occasion.
In most churches, pastors would often recap/talk about the significance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is a very solemn time of remembrance. Some Catholic churches replicate the Way of the Cross on Good Friday.
Roman Catholic AnswerNo, Good Friday, like a couple of other days in the Roman Calendar has no rank. The normal rank of liturgical days, since Vatican Council II, are 1) Solemnity, 2) Feast, 3) Memorial, 4) Optional Memorial. Some days are not ranked, Good Friday, and All Souls Day are two that I can think of that have no liturgical rank.
On Good Friday 2021, many churches and religious organizations may hold special services such as solemn liturgies, prayer vigils, and Stations of the Cross. Some communities may also have events like processions or reenactments of the crucifixion of Jesus. Additionally, some businesses and schools may be closed in observance of the holiday.

Christians celebrate three essential events: Good Friday, Easter and Christmas. In addition, there are several other events during the year which are important, depending on the Christian denomination. Some denominations celebrate events such as Epiphany, Harvest Thanksgiving, Pentecost, Advent, the Reformation (Lutherans) and remember (not "celebrate") events such as Ash Wednesday and Lent.

Because it's the day that Jesus died on the cross, so it is called good because he did it so all our sins could be forgiven.Actually He could not have died on Friday because the Bible says He was dead three days and three nights. That would not be possible between Friday and Sunday.Actually the Jesus says in the Bible that on the third day he will rise, not three days and nights.additional information comes from "the advent" Catholic encyclopedia:From the earliest times the Christians always kept every Friday as a day to feast/gather; Friday which marks the anniversary of the Christ's death; came to be called the Great or the Holy or the Good Friday. The origin of the term Good is not clear. Some say it is from "God's Friday" (Gottes Freitag); others maintain that it is from the German Gute Freitag, and not specially English. Sometimes, the day was also called Long Friday by the Anglo-Saxons.
