In truth, there are no German Shepherd mix breeds. German Shepherds are a pure breed. A dog could have some German Shepherd in it, but then it would not be a German Shepherd Dog.
Common breeds mixed with Shepherds are huskies, labradors and rottweilers.

Wild wolves, breeds like the husky, and other than that I cant find any infrmation on the breeds that make up the germanshepherd dog. Sorry for quite a bad answer.German Shepherds are very basic, who's ancestors would trace down to the European wolf, much like the Huskies can be traced to North American Timber Wolves, yet the Husky and German Shepherd are two very different breeds with completely different temperaments as they were genetically selected for from two very different species of wolves.Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/What_mix_breed_makes_a_German_Shepherd#ixzz1H4C25daQ
