It was not easily duplicated or transported to remote locations because it could take up a great deal of space and weighed a lot. By using electronic methods to create, store, manipulate, duplicate, transfer and store data, many of the shortcomings of paper-based data processing have been eliminated. Speed, accuracy, retrieval, and storage is now far better.
