Most of your true Doom Metal bands (not the downtempo gothic bands that get passed off as Doom Metal) tend to be a bit more 'spiritually friendly'. These bands tend to follow the Black Sabbath blueprint, and often actually manifest a fear of the occult (although not every single one of them does). Some of these bands include:Black Sabbath (first two albums)Saint VitusTrouble (who actually were a Christian-themed band up until the mid-90s)Paul ChainAlexander ScardavianDark QuartererWitchfinder GeneralRevelationOrodruinPale DivineSpiritis MortiisMirror of DeceptionWarningSolsticeSolitude AeturnusForsaken (the one from Malta)IsoleMercyCandlemassAnd others. Some other bands I'd mention which don't possess the sort of anti-Christian/Satanic themes you wish to avoid would be:Iron MaidenJudas PriestBlitzkriegSavageWitchfyndeTankAnd many others which I really don't have the time to list.If you're looking for something more along the 'extreme' lines, I might suggest:Mortification - A Christian-themed Death Metal bands. In my opinion, the rest of their discography ranged from iffy to bad, but Scrolls of the Megilloth is an album worth a listen to. You should also be able to find the video for the title track ("Scrolls of the Megilloth") on Youtube.Enslaved - one of the bands which had been signed to Deathlike Silence productions. They're very Black Metal-styled, but the music is Viking themed.Forefather - They call themselves "Anglo Saxon Metal", but the actual style can vary quite a bit, with some Black Metal-influenced albums earlier on, so a more traditionalised sound later on.Isen Torr - Epic Metal from the UK. Unfortunately, only one EP has been released by them (Mighty and Superior), but it's definitely worth having if you like that style of music.
The Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth is an all ages music venue that showcases mostly local metal bands. On occasion they have a wrestling show or "big name" bands such as DYing Fetus, Hellyeah, and Insane Clown Posse to name a few.
