Direct to garmet (DTG) printing uses modified inkjet printers and specialty inks for printing onto textiles for absorption into the fibers. In addition to the use of different inks, a DTG differs from a normal ink jet in that a DTG will include some way to transport the garmet away from the printer after production, as opposed to a standard ink jet where the paper remains on, in, or near the printer.

Not much. A wrinkle-resistant garment is designed to minimize wrinkles so that you do not have to iron it much. Some people don't iron the garment at all. I've never seen a garment, other than one made of polyester, which did not require some ironing. I don't know of a manufacturer which markets clothes as iron-free or wrinkle-free.
