- Check to ensure the fax went through properly

- Send serious information

Don't's:

- Leave your faxes sitting in the machine

- Use your fax for "cold" advertising

- "Black fax" people (send multiple black pages so that their fax runs out of toner)

- Try to send double sided faxes when the fax machine only reads one side

- Send personal information

- Use your company fax as your personal fax receiving line
