WIT missions are tasks you have to complete for your WIT Division.They will be assigned to you by Neila222, the WIT Program Coordinator.

When you are a member of WIT, you will be able to access the WIT homepage. To do this, click "WIT Home" on the bottom of the toolbar on your left. You will see a forum, some information and a list of missions. Simply select which mission you would like to do.
Check out the WIT page there you will see there are different types of WIT and they all do different missions.
WIT Teams were a way of dividing members into groups, or "teams", and having them complete missions. Nowadays teams have been removed and everyone is free to perform whatever WIT missions they like from the list of selectable missions available on the WIT page. Now, the "WIT Team" is used to refer to the Supervisors who run the program. they are Zapallar, Xnicola and Skullcandy88.
When you join WIT, you get a badge on your profile page displaying your WIT division. Upon completing 25 WIT missions, you receive a reward badge for your profile page. You receive additional reward badges after completing 50 and 100 WIT missions.
As of February 2013 according to the WIT homepage, AwakeTonight has completed the most with 272 missions complete. DaughterofGod9498 has completed 198 missions and Spottedtail has completed 138.
Currently, WIT does not have weekly goals. WIT missions are assigned on an individual basis. Once you complete a mission, you get a new one. Previously, missions were assigned to all WIT members as a group each week. We changed the program format so each person could work on missions more suited to their individual tastes.
There are many examples of spaceflight. Several of these examples would be the mission to the moon commonly called the Apollo missions or the multiple different space exploration missions.

If you want to keep participating in WIT, we would love to have you!! We certainly are not going to kick you out. :-) The WIT Program is currently open to teens between the ages of 13-18. Neila222, the WIT Coordinator, gives everyone missions based on their individual interests. Members receive prizes and reward badges for completing missions. Once you reach age 19, you will receive a WIT Alumni badge on your profile page. If you are still interested in working on WIT missions after that, then you most definitely can.
You select your own missions from a mission builder list found on the WIT Homepage, which is accessible by clicking 'WIT Home' on the bottom of the left toolbar.
